(More on) Natural Boner Killers

I truly, truly thank you all for the well-wishes. You all lift my spirits. The body abilities return - a little less with each major bout, but they do return. I find it just takes a little more concentration. Sort of like trying to maintain a boner when the cock doesn't quite want to cooperate. :-)

And, we've all experienced that once in a while, whether it's due to being overtired, or having a bit too much to drink. Of course, if it persists...then it's time to figure out why.

I've gotten some really good input from a couple of Faithful Readers on the issue of the imbalance of hormones which, if too far off kilter, can kill our boners.

"Well you've inspired me to read more on the subject as its something I'd not considered at all. And some of the literature is telling me that too low levels of estrogen can contribute to the possibility of vascular disease, loss of bone density and cognitive function. That men should maintain a level of estrogen above 20pg/mL but below 30pg/mL. Shall keep reading, and probably get a test next time I do bloods. Thanks again for a very interesting and well-put-together blog."

And this:

"Estrogen is the original sex hormone that appeared in the plant world to enable sexual reproduction.  There was no need for testosterone for plants.  In the evolution of animals, testosterone was produced in the bodies of males from estrogen.  The body also produces estrogen by itself.  Without estrogen there is no testosterone, but there is a natural balance between the two that changes throughout the lifespan.

The plant estrogens from food can create an imbalance between estrogen and testosterone, but you will not find a plant that can boost testosterone.  If the cruciferous plants, such as broccoli and cauliflower can cause more estrogen than testosterone to be excreted, that is probably a good thing.  But one does not want to take this too far."

Both contain very good, important information. Hormonal balance is required. Without it, we can lose that which we value so much.

Natural Boner Killers; Boner Boosters

Do you like the scent of Lavender? Do you purchase body lotions, hand lotions, shampoo and conditioners, body soaps? Any product that contains Lavender contains natural estrogen. Opposing studies are rife with arguments; the medical community suggesting Lavendin (the essential oil in both lavender and tea tree oils) contributes to hormonal imbalances in males; the beauty/bath products industry fighting back with their own studies to prove otherwise.
The bottom line is still this: While the levels may be low, added estrogen in too many products which are used by males on a daily basis will only contribute to the overall effect. Why take the chance?
PediaSure doesn't claim to contain hormones of any kind, yet it's made with Soy products - which contains fairly high levels of estrogen. Which can contribute to breast growth, shrinking testicles, and killing boners.
The question, of course, raised by several Faithful Readers is if there are foods and products which contain natural levels of Testosterone in the same way that Estrogen is found.
The short answer is No.
The long answer is foods which are high in Vitamin D and Zinc are thought to help boost production of Testosterone.
Foods suggested to assist in raising levels of Testosterone: Pomegranate, Olive Oil, Oysters, Coconut, Cauliflower and Broccoli, Whey Protiens (found in Ricotta Cheese), and Garlic. And here's a surprise - Cauliflower and Broccoli are thought to help men excrete excess estrogen.
But, one thing is for certain...we guys want those rock-solid hard-ons. The feel of our straining boners is a thing we enjoy.
The harder, the better.

As we age, boner quality becomes more important to us

And it becomes more important to get those Testosterone levels checked to maintain a good stiff cock.

Natural Boner Killers

Let's go into the kitchen for a moment.
If you are a follower of naturalistic, Holistic, or Homeopathic remedies it should come as no surprise that women who need to boost their levels are told to consume foods high in Estrogen. It's fine for them, but, during the discussion of weak erections last week, I should have also stressed: Foods heavy in natural estrogen are also natural boner killers.
3
Studies around the globe have discovered higher rates of early breast development in girls - and, surprise! breast development in boys! Testicles are shrinking and breast tissue is growing.
4
Male consumption of Estrogen is also thought to be the cause of:

  • Low Testosterone in younger men
  • High rates of Prostate Cancer
  • Gynecomastasia (breast development in males)
  • Male Breast Cancer

and, drum roll please...
Erectile Dysfunction.
5
Males of all ages should avoid:

  • Flax, or flax seed in any incarnation
  • Soy, or any soy product - this includes Ensure,
  • And Ladies - pay special attention here! infant formulas such as Enfamil and Similac.

Guys, if you are suffering from flagging flagpoles and weak ejaculations, take a serious look at your diet. You'd be surprised to learn just how much Estrogen you ingest. According to Martha Rosenberg, an investigative health reporter: "Legumes like chickpeas (garbanzo beans) red beans, black-eyed peas, green peas and split peas are also estrogenic and black beans pack 5,330 micrograms of estrogen per 100 grams. Hummus (from chickpeas) has 993 micrograms of estrogen per 100 grams. How about the "healthful" seeds we think of as mingled in trailmix? Sesame and sunflower seeds are among the highest of all estrogenic foods. While their seeds are not a staple of most people's diets, their oils are widely used in processed and prepared foods."

To keep those boners as stiff as stiff can be.

Read those labels on processed foods, and avoid things known to contain boner killers.
