The Money Shot

"Love your blog. Especially during May. I'm a straight dude and love to watch guys go solo. Nothing gets me a harder boner than seeing another man taking his time stroking and shooting geysers. My wife thinks I'm turning gay. LOL"

Despite what the religious right says, there is no such thing as "turning gay." Are you Bi? Maybe you're a little toward that on the Bell Curve. So what?

You and your wife might both be surprised to know how many men like to watch guys. After all, the main focus of all porn: The hard, shooting cock.

It's called "the money shot" for a reason. It's what guys want to see.

Your wife can calm her fears. Tell her you should watch together.

And she can reap the benefits of your arousal.

Not a Word

"I've been following your blog for a couple of years now. As a woman I can't tell you how much I've learned about guys. Thanks for supplying such great information. I recently told my brother he should log on and read because during a talk he admitted he's strictly solo. He doesn't even date and insists he's not one of those incel guys. He just prefers jerking off. The problem is our parents bug him about getting married and having kids and then they whine to me that it's not happening. I'm getting fed up with listening to them and want to explain the situation but don't really know how. Any suggestions?"

My first and biggest suggestion is: Don't.

Not a word.

If your brother ever decides to tell them, he will. Though, in all reality, it's none of their business what he does with his cock. Beside that, you never know - someday he may change his mind about partner sex.

I once had a good friend say, "Jacking off is really the best because no one can do you like you do you." But that isn't necessarily 100% accurate, either. Humans are pretty good at learning. If you can teach someone how to, I don't know...say, type or play piano, you can certainly teach someone how to handle a hard-on.

What you may want to do, instead, is tell him to read the posts here on mutual masturbation. Sex therapists prescribe it for couples as a means of learning what their partner likes, what feels good to them, what leaves them satisfied. But the core lesson is learning how to communicate those things. If he is with an understanding partner, someone who is GGG (as Dan Savage says)  Good, Giving, and Game), he just might move past solo masturbation.

But, beyond that, there are a whole lot of people who really do prefer jacking off. They've explored other activities and decided that, for them, going solo is the right fit. Who are we to argue?

Solo provides the opportunity to make it last as long as we want,

or to make it as quick as might be necessary in the moment by providing the stimulation precisely where, how, and when we desire it.

I seriously suggest you keep what your brother told you in confidence to yourself and leave your parents out of it. Shrug it off, change the subject, or just flat out tell them you don't want to discuss your brother's status.

Enjoy What You Enjoy

A New comment left on the post Str8 or Gay? from 2014.

"Hi,

I will try to be short....
when I got 20 year old, I discovered gay porn.

In 2008, I got a relation-ship with a girl, but I continued to watch gay porn. And I was happy when she break the relation.
In 2012, my first time with a boy. result: no very well.
In 2018, a new relation with a girl (she have a bf), when starting, all seems to be ok, but due to some stress with my job and his bf (his bf have a mental problem), my mind starting o go in hell, bad pictures in my head, ...

In december 2018, I decide to break.
January 2019, a sexdate with a boy and his big cock... I got little pain and some doubt.
Now, I found the bator way and by reading some blogs, maybe I'm just a bator ? Why, because I remember that when I was young I already bate by push my cock between my legs.

So, by the fact that I got addicted to gay porn and based on my experiences with girls, I think that I'm gay but reading this blog not help me to accept that.
Anyone can help me about gay or not gay and if possible teach to be a good (gay) bator."

Well, you've run through the experimental stages of sexual awakening.  It very well could be that you are strictly a solo-sexual - a bator, as you put it.

Whether you are gay, straight, or bisexual doesn't really matter. If you read through that old post before leaving your comment there, you might understand many, many straight men love gay porn. They get what they want to see (hard cocks and money shots) without all the other stuff.

Of course, "Not gay. Guy on guy." typically means no anal penetration. Straight porn is learning to give women more of what they're looking for: story, and meaningful connections. As the industry moves in that direction, men are discovering they can get what they want by watching gay videos.

As today's youth are now saying: Sexual orientation labels are not necessary.
Go enjoy what you enjoy.
But, my readers might have answers to your questions.
Is he "gay, or not gay? Can he learn to be a good (gay) bator?"

Fluid Sexuality or "Flexuality"

Anonymous said...
Why can’t guys be fluid? Why do we have to label what we do with other guys as “straight” or “ gay” or even “bi?”
That's a great question. And I believe the upcoming generation is making that case - sometimes reaching a bit too far with it. Last week, two weeks ago, I can't remember, an argument ensued over a birth announcement. As in, "So-and-so gave birth to a baby boy..." and the controversy began to not force a label onto progeny. (Completely overlooking my issue with the sentence: I sure hope the woman didn't give birth to an adult boy! 😁)
Anyway.... Leaving the sexual orientation labels behind would be a great thing. The website Flexuality from 2012 addressed this issue so perfectly for those who wish to either have a way to label themselves, or to leave themselves "fluid;" they refuse labels which might describe sexual orientation - or even gender. It received a write-up in the New York Times (NYT) in May of 2017.

If you've never seen the website
or read the NYT article
both are worth the time.
