Faithful Readers Hooter and Maximus have created t-shirts they intend to begin wearing in September. They invite everyone to use them to create their own means of messaging.
Oh, it was a hot one yesterday. We broke the heat record with 120° F.
We pretty much spent the day inside in the A/C with sporadic dips in the pool.
I know the rest of the U.S. has been roasting. I hope you all found ways to cool off.

We both thank you very much for sharing pictures of our t-shirt creations. We hope they spread far and wide. We have a 4 by 10-foot sign printed of the first saying that we will attach to the front of our house in September. We hope to share that sentiment with all the folks taking bus trips to enjoy our fall foliage.

Temps in MN have been moderate. I don't know how we are escaping all this record breaking stuff, but we are. Rain... lots of rain this year, which means the prairie is absolutely breathtaking. The humidity is awful... but what you gonna do? Hope all is well, dear. Kizzes.

120 degrees! I can't imagine what it's like. We were sweltering yesterday when it got near 90 degrees in Boston.

"Sausage and Eggs" is bad enough, but I remember a seafood restaurant that had "Outboard and Inboard". Had to think a bit on that one.
"Modern Restrooms" is interesting because it shows that it dates back to a time when that was a major advertising point. Did the other places just have outhouses?
