Program Halted

Morning

It's been a busy first week for the current administration. Some things have been done in the dark of night that become overshadowed by items the media latches onto. Funding for PEPFAR (President's Plan for AIDS Relief) was launched in 2003 by GW Bush.  It distributed the anti-HIV drug that is credited for saving millions of lives.

The program was halted on Friday.

You can read about it HERE or  HERE or HERE

Happy Monday.

He who shall not be named and this administration has already done this several times. I'm wondering how long to this goes on till it goes to the streets in protest, or are why just gonna take it??? I have a friend in Philly is transiting and her hormone treatments are no longer approved all of a sudden. I only hope something terrible befalls the congress and white house .

What a bastard that lying pile of orange baby shit is! Unfortunately, the first and third link goes to the same page. Even though there's less to laugh about these days, your funnies made me chuckle a couple of times.

Yep, elections have consequences, especially for all of the millions of people who stayed home and didn’t vote. I think I’d like that Jack Daniels tea!
Hugs and bisous.

The cutting of programs that benefit people is part of Project 2025 (also, AIDS is icky and only the Queers get it) so no surprise there. What the Orange Baboon is not thinking is that there's OTHER people benefitting from these programs, namely, MAGAts.
It'll backfire.

XOXO

Yep (you can tell I refuse to use his name). Once RFK gets confirmed, it will get a lot worse when it comes to medical.

Truth! I think there's a lot of us who would like to have a good long supply of that tea. Hugs and bisous.

Oops. Though the info is the same at all three, I fixed it.

They still haven't felt the pain. But they will.

Yep. The first 180 days are going exactly as they planned. As Bannon said, "Flood the zone with so much they can't keep up with everything."
