A New Gadget

Yesterday a post about limp dicks and today a post about a new gadget meant to treat that wet noodle.

Healthline does product reviews. This one, "Giddy Review: "Does the Giddy Device Work," written by Breanna Mona and medically reviewed by Matt Coward, MD, FACS, is about the new cock ring you may have heard about for treating Erectile Dysfunction (ED). To think I almost deleted the email....

Eddie by Giddy is a new-fangled cock ring, made from silicone.

Unlike the typical cock ring, this one is U-shaped and is held closed with a heavy rubberband.

And, according to users interviewed by Mona, may not be as easy to get on as the normal ring. This one is going to take both hands.

The fact it comes in different girth sizes is a good thing, and the company promises to help any guy "resize" if the original purchase doesn't fit properly. (Though, the website does offer help in sizing.)

It's an FDA Class II Medical Device, which means it's been reviewed but not tested. You might be tempted to try it. But, at $238.00 for a 2-pack, the price alone may be enough to make you lose your boner.

Especially when you read down the article and find out it will need to be replaced every 2- 3 months. Whereas, a typical silicon or metal cock ring online, or at your neighborhood adult store, may run you $5 - $10 and pretty much last forever.

Additionally, it carries the same caution as any other cock ring which is used at only the base of the shaft.

As opposed to one that encircles both cock and balls.

You should only keep it on for 30 minutes, maximum. If you develop trouble, seek medical attention immediately to have it removed by a doctor.

Depending on the type of ED (yes, there are different types, read the linked article) you have, a cock ring may not even be the right solution for you.

But everyone understands how important your boners are.
If you need a little lift, you need a little lift.

Ok, so first, thanks for clearing up the whole cockring-in-front-of-the-balls thing. I have seen it in porn and have never understood why.
Second, Eddie seems pretty... medical, which is reassuring but you are right, it's kinda pricey. It may have to do with the moving parts, mind you.
I have never worn and cockring and have never had sex with anyone wearing one, either. You'd think I have, given that I'm an ethical slut, but no.

XOXO

So many choices.

That Giddy(up) device looks a lot like a similar 'cock ring' from years ago. Was available for a LOT less than Giddy's price!

Like one of the 'lasso' loops. There's also a vibrating device with the same general shape (only $25).

LoveGasm has a $40 device...

OMG!
Thag Giddy cock ring is way too expensive.

I have a normal silicone cock ring that I put only when waking up and get it off after ejaculation and it's just doing it fine for me.

No need for those expensive new gadget. I have mine for many years and still works well.

PS Forgot to say that I use my cockring around my dick and balls too which gives me alot of good sensations as I like to be my balls to be thighten or, when I have a partener, be sucked and hold on.

Yeah, it's a no from me... I don't see it as a toy but as a helper, & that makes it sad 🤷‍♂️ For me, it's a turn off 😏

$238.00 or free, or even if I was paid for wearing one of them, no cock ring for me. Never, it's as simple as that.

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.

Never really got into cock rings, but I have worn them for extended sex romps. But don't usually require one to get or stay hard...thought they do make my cock even harder.

Um, that looks exactly like one I had DECADES ago! And mine cost much much less. Didn't work all that well, either. I will stick with my standard round rings.

I find it interesting some guys actually find them a turn-on. For as sensitive as men are about their parts, it seems they would run far away from them. I learn new things every day. Happy weekend.
Hugs and bisous.

I've stopped using cock rings. I don't need them. I like them. I thought they were sexy and I like the feel of putting them on. But they do too much damage. I have tried all the various kinds, too... leather, chrome, rubber, silicon, etc. It matters not... they all compress vessels and tubes... and that is not a good idea as we get older. Better to take a little generic viagra and put up with the side effects than risk damage. No one likes blood in their cum.

My favorite cock rings are 2" diameter somewhat flexible urethane rings, repurposed from Reality Female Condoms - a loose fitting condom that needed a retainer ring when used by women. Just lucky that the size fits me perfectly. And if you lose one wearing it on the street, no big deal!

I used to wear a chrome cock ring when I went out to the bars at night. I went out one weeknight and got home REAL late. Forgot I had it on. Went to work the next morning and went into the men's room to take a piss. Of course, by then, anything I did to hold the cock ring in place had long since stopped working. All me (AN MY COWORKERS HEARD) was the sound of the cock ring bouncing off and rolling across the tile floor.
